Shaman Request

Please explain the issues your having with his conversation.

He was acting in a completely irrespectful way even after Neko told him that he would host that game, even without knowing what the game was, wich is a very good gesture, and even after that he acts like that, IMO it's really ban worthy.

He was acting worse than Nitekreeper.

How? Again please Explain the issue. Im asking Twice now and two people responded with absolutely nothing to the first attempt to figure out what the issue is.

Firstly, green demands that HolyNeko hosts a map he's never played for him. Neko refuses at first, until green started getting mad at him, at which point he accepted. Then he said give me a link to the map, greens like, "want me to go find it?" Neko says yes, and then green says, "Too bad." So, he demands that he hosts a map for him, but then doesn't make any effort in trying to give him the map.

Alright, after Neko says he won't do it because he won't give him a link, green tells him to leave the channel. Neko says something along the lines of no, you go away, you're not part of this clan, anyways. At which point, I say BAN 'EM! as a joke, because green was getting pretty annoying.

Then, after he said Neko was a nothing, I said he was a nothing inside the clan, and then he says I'm a nothing, at which point, I say I'm somewhat of a nothing, 'cause I'm a moderator at the forums. Then green goes onto to insult me in various ways, and tells me to leave, at which point I'm not sure what at all happened. My friend Vane joined, and started making up stuff, (I told him I was trying to get this guy banned inside the channel, and he asked me what his name was, and I said green31, why?) And started making a bunch of crap up, at which point I said I couldn't watch in a PM. I'm not sure what really happened from there, as I was popping in and out of the channel, minamizing from this page and wc3campaigns.

I would appreciate kicking and banning powers. I'm fair/trustworthy and was a shaman for a long time. I just got demoted for inactivity. I see no reason why I shouldn't have the ability to moderate the channel.

Green31 Demanded Nothing, He asked, and actually politely, and numerous times to multiple hosts before holyneko and green encountered each other. Neko did not refuse in fact he openly stated he would host it all he needed was the map. Green wants to play the game but after Neko and the other holy show complete laziness to going to actually get the map Green himself gives up on the venture as well and all 3 of them decide to procrastinate about the issue of whos going to go get the damn map. At this point everyone is actually seemingly getting along and joking back and forth.

Id say while Green shouldn't say Go away to anyone, these two have been discussing and joking openly and together about this situation for a full 10 minutes prior to this section of the conversation. If I told Someone to Go Away in the channel there would be laughter about it. When Green does it he is publicly gathered up on and lynched by multiple people. I take personal issues with anyone abusing my Bot and I personally have a investment in the community of MM&M. I will tolerate many things in the Bnet channel including joking around even excessively, however I do not want to see figureheads of the community decide that they can simply ban people just because something that person said offended you. This conversation from my personally point of view is one of a few people who do not know each other joking around with there own personal styles of joking, a conflict occurred when more people entered the room and since one side of the conflict was not in the clan or even well known by the clan and the other side has a shaman, a artwork designer and a clans member on it then the person is automatically secluded of representation and you simply write whatever you want on the forums with no regard for if it is actually justifiable. I doubt that Green31 even knew of the reason he was banned from the room, which makes us look how? Im sure that it makes us as a community looks fantastic.

I do not know the workings of other clans but I do now that mm&m is a part of THIS community and what THIS community is all about to me is being a FUN COMMUNITY and not being a DOTA COMMUNITY full of a bunch of ass's. Trust me when I say that if this community falls into that category I will not be here to watch that happen. Around here we are friendly to each other and we can tolerate that we all joke even excessively some times and when there is an issue it is resolved with a conversation before action is taken especially excessive action. If there is an issue with anything then take a screen shot and go through the appropriate pathways to getting someone banned. I do not want to see my bot's Ban database grow even a single Name if it is not run by Kuro First, if there is a name on my Ban list and Kuro does not know about it then your specific privileges will be removed. Use the Minute Ban if you need to clear a room for a specific time.

Sure they were all being lazy and no one got the map, but no one got hurt. Not even slightly. Not even grudge worthy....Why are we banning someone XD.

Yeah, that is why I had a problem of Hades. When a game of MM&M starts to feel like a game of DoTA, it's just not fun anymore.

I don't want to necessarily ban him, really...but I want to be able to kick them, if necessary, if people are being jerks to each other.

I suppose what green31, (and Neko, and myself), wasn't really that bad...but I still think demanding of him to host a map when he doesn't have it, and then showing no effort to try to give it to him is quite silly.

Also, yes, I WOULD call that demanding. He asks if Neko can host, and then tells him to host, I repeat, tells him, not asks, him to host. Then he doesn't try to give him the map, which results in the getting annoyed at each other, and then into the eventual craziness/argument(s).

(edit) I think the reason I wanted him to be banned last night is because I was really annoyed with my friend...and wanted him to go away, but he wouldn't listen.

wow didnt find this link till just now XD lol it gives me the warm fuzzys... so yeah i dont hold grudges longer then 10 seconds =P but he was causing chaos today insulting me i kicked twice and warned him a few times then i did a minute ban he cursed me out of whispers he then said if i shut up can i come back? i said yes unbanned him and hes being a goodboy for now =/ i have screen shots if any shamens request them but we really shouldn't be so leanient to strangers =/
