I think this will be a one-sided poll, but I'm doing it because I'm out of my mind and basically drugged to the point where I don't care anyways.

Bartimaeus is obviously smarter. He's a fricken 14th level Djinni. You can't argue with that.

Intelligent, or wise? I'd say more wise, but I'm not sure about intelligent.

Stupid is =/= to brainwashed. Although the end result is quite similar. The difference is that it's not his fault. Being that I live in the bible belt myself, I can understand the pressure to conform to the religious, moral, and ethical systems of the zealots and extremists around yourself. The difference is that I learned to pretend I agreed and fake it around them, while secretly developing my own belief system.

So yeah, blame his parents and/or Canada at your own preference. Either way, it's not really his fault.

There's nothing wrong with Canada. One of my best friends live there, thank you.

I don't even go to church. How you can say that I'm brainwashed is ridiculous.

I understand. Sometimes it's hard to find a church with people who have the same beliefs as you and aren't going to hell. It's probably pretty hard to go to church with people who you know are going to burn. Don't worry, I have multiple friends who face the same dilemma and don't attend church for that reason.

It is his fault if he decides to believe in something.
But that wasn't why I said that, Dragon, seriously, read the actual posts he wrote there before guessing I said he is stupid because he is christian; as I was referring to his posts about Communism, Capitalism, Dictatorship, Oligarchy and Monarchy.

The only church I could bear to go to is my grandpa's. But he lives across the entire U.S., so I can't really go.

Everyone else's churches seems kind of ridiculous...they talk nice at the altar, saying how we need to be more like Jesus, etc, but go around sinning in their real lives.

My other set of grandpa/grandmas also are supposebly, "Christian", but, not really, at all, in any way whatsoever. They gamble. They lie. They're generally jerks to everyone around them. They don't try at all to be better, either. My grandma goes around buying wooden carvings on E-Bay, and then sells them to people, saying they're handcarved, and overpricing them at the same time.

This essentially happens with other, "Christians", too.

Smart is a relative term. In specific instances, either one of them may excel, however overall I don't think anyone can say since none of us know them personally. We don't even know what kind of smart you're talking about? Book smarts? Never seen any of them do any sort of assignment or test. Street smarts? Never been hustled by either of them. Just generally smart? Again, it takes what you value as more for being smart....Like if I asked you who was smarter, Pythagoras (The actual mathematician) or Einstein. It would depend on if you valued math more, or science more...and then if you thought the time eras and stuff mattered.

Anyway, didn't vote.

Being Christian does not bind you to anything, like not sinning.

Otherwise, NOBODY would be a true [christian/muslim/jew/etc.]

Bob doesn't go to church. That doesn't mean he's automatically not a Christian, does it?

But your grandparents do sound like a-holes xD

Well, it seems like the result of this poll says that we're equal. That's about the best result that anybody could really hope for, ;p

I personally believe we all have a balance to equal us all out in one way or another. I do not know the either of them well enough in person to gauge intelligence and compare but even if I where to declare one smarter then the other I would not necessarily be saying one is better then the other because in terms of value of human beings we are all the same when where born and when we die and that's really enough for me.
