What happened to the old one? A new one wouldn't be bad either....

Agreed. I'm tired of nothing. If DBC could make us a new one, it would be awesome.

I actually read this awhile ago, on my IPOD. So I didn't bother responding. But, its a possibility. Not anytime soon, though... Ive been busy. Doing things not involving pixels. Mostly school, then I hangout with my buds for about 4-5 hours after. Then I go home around 7-8. Eat everything I have in my pantry, and sleep. (Repeated cycle).

Honestly I didn't see it? (Jay sounds like hes from a stoner's environment). That's what many kids too. I always chow down before I go to bed. Plus, the school food is terrible, and expensive. So I'm always hungry during the week.

I do have stoner friends.

I'm shocked at how you don't see it...

Chill for 4-5 hours after school? Prime time to get high....and the time frame fits too. You get high for like 3 hours, burn out for like an hour and head home...then you have the munchies when you get home which is very stoner typical, and just munch down...Then you pass out since you're burned out.

But, I guess that's from me knowing stoners....O well

I never realized it took hours to get high. Ive been around people who did drugs, and it only took them about 5 minutes. And I never understood the correlation between "munchies" and getting high. Anyways, im always hungry if you know me, and no im not overweight. Yeah, but im also strongly against drugs, I don't care if other people do it. Just keep that garbage away from me.

Okay, speaking from a perspective that has never been high but has been around high people, I can say that it does not take hours to get high. However, once you are high, you generally don't want to come down for as long as possible so you'll stay in that drug induced state awhile. It doesn't take a ton of time to get high, you just spend a lot of time there. And weed effects people very differently. Some get munchies while others not so much. Some people get all laugh-tastic while others get quiet. Stereotypes are nice, but they don't fit all the time.

It doesn't take hours to get high...It takes minutes....Possibly seconds depending on the quality, your state of mind prior, the time of day, the person etc. However, generally unless it's shitty quality people stay high, or THC is inhibiting certain receptors (Mostly) for around 3 hours on average. More or less depending on again, the quality, the person, the time, their state of mind prior etc...

Generally you go from a state of perception to sensory...so you get the raw input/data and focus on that more than what's actually happening or the perception. So for like music, you hear the notes themselves more so then the actual melody and rhythm and such. You're more likely to notice minute detail because of that sensory going up, however because you start focusing on sensory things your reaction time goes down because you don't actually know what happens as fast. So you'll see a ball coming to your face and take in the color and the texture, before realizing you should put up your hand to catch it. Now, as it pertains to the munchies, since you're sensory levels are up, the food will taste different which is why the stereotype is of people eating a bunch of crap because it well, tastes different. The reason for eating a lot, and I'm not sure about this is because I think it inhibits your sensory levels in your...not stomach but some organ. Hypothalmus? I can't remember...But ya. Not positive on that.

Anyway....I don't smoke or do bongs, or make hash cookies or anything of the sort. No recreational drugs in general - but one of my closer friends (Known him since grade 3) does, and he's pretty much a pot head. That, and I'm going into neuroscience, so you pick up on the actual mechanics behind it.
