| Cool if you can make it work. It should host a DL only MM&M I guess? I don't think it's possible for bots to actually start games. | |

| It is. LOTI I think has one. For Impossible Bosses, the bot hosts a game non-stop. I've seen it get up to 50+ games hosted in a row and it doesn't lag. It's actually better than someone in real life hosting. | |

| Still working on it, give me time. About a week to a week and a half. I'll tell everyone when it's up. | |

| So will it actually start the games? Also, I think it should alternate -ANNS and -NM, and put a message in the screen saying that it's a bot hosting it and describing the game mode. Then, it should also close one of the slots just to make the teams even. It should display a message (and do this) that it starts 20 seconds after there are 6 people in the game or 20 seconds after the latest person finished download, whichever comes last. | |

It doesn't take up a slot. It starts the game. It starts the game with your settings - I played with fullhouse starting settings. It even says when people leave intentionally, get disconnected etc. through the closest person to the first player.

| The link to that forum didn't help me at all. Nowhere that I could find does it actually say what the bot is, how it works, or what it is for. It just talks about specific ways to modify it, advanced commands to use with it, and other things that I don't care about. This is a serious pet peeve of mine, forums love to make things completely hostile to new people. All I wanted was a basic sticky that explained what the fricken bot was and how it works, but NOOOO. I even read the FAQ and it was a bunch of advanced stuff about the bot instead of actually saying what it was.
Can I please get a brief run-down of a few more of the capabilities of this bot? What, for instance, does it require to be used?

| I didn't even look at the site, but from what I saw, it makes 100% sense to me. But that's probably due to the fact that it's (from what I see) scripted in PHP. I worked with PAWN when I used to create Counter-Strike 1.6 server modifications in AMXX, which is basically comparing JASS to C++ (they're quite similar, btw). Really, it seems that all you did was download the bot, run it, and activate a certain script to make it auto-host the game you've selected. I'm sure I'd have a good chance of scripting it to correctly host MM&M, but I'm caught up with Spellbroken. Eh, whatever, Spellbroken can wait. I'll try it out. EDIT: http://forum.codelain.com/index.php?topic=1038.0Read that? Btw, looks like I can pretty much get it up and running 100%. Thing is, I don't feel like fetching my CD-Keys, nor using them for some stupid bot unless I know that people will actually use it. Sorry. | |

| fetching cd-keys are easy.
all you do is open up your wc3 folder and somewhere in there is a folder called "cd-keys."
so far i know this about the bot: -it hosts a game -waits for X people before starting -starts the game -returns to channel -(loop)
i believe it can have more than one game going at once (thats what someone said)
