THE CHANGELOG OF MM&M (7.00 - 7.09c)

Version Alpha 7.09c:


===Spells:===

-Light-

- Resurrection now revives the target at half mana. This is temporary.

-Lightning-

- Lightning Strike's mana cost increased from 65/75/85/95/105 to 65/80/95/110/125.
- Tazer's mana cost increased from 100/110/120 to 100/125/150.

Version Alpha 7.09b:


===Coding:===

- Slightly changed Wind Elemental to make it more efficient.
- Slightly changed Whirl Wind to make it more efficient (no bug removals yet).

===Bugs:===

- Fixed Pacifism.

Version Alpha 7.09a:

===Spells:===

-Light-

- Increased casting range of Bless from 500 to 600.
- Decreased armor bonus of Bless from 5/10/15 to 4/8/12.
- Pacifism now only silences for 2/3/4 seconds.

-Lightning-

- Lightning Strike's mana cost reduced from 65/85/105/125/145 to 65/75/85/95/105.
- Lightning Strike's cooldown now scales with the level (12 to 14/13/12/11/10).
- Purge's mana cost changed from 75/90/105 to 80 at all levels.
- Tazer's mana cost changed from 95/140/185 to 100/110/120.
- Thunder Clap's damage decreased from 2.5/5.0/7.5 to 2.2/4.4/6.6.

===Units:===

- Reduced Mountain Giant Fissure proc percentage from 15.7% (yes, it was slightly more than 15% and could be rounded to 16%) to 9%.

===Items:===

- Reduced % chance given to Passive Fissure chance on Earth Armor from 5% to 4%.

===Other/Optional:===

- Increased the width of the scoreboard to prevent chopping off of names and display the Time Elapsed better.

===Bugs:===

- Blue no longer has another hero. This was leftover from a test I was doing and I forgot to remove it.
- Tooltip for Restore now has the correct spell damages.
- Tooltip for Leech Life now includes the extra 2% missing health of target per second damage.

Version Alpha 7.09:

===New Features:===

- After the game mode is selected, you are now reminded about farmers. Don't worry... it's so simple it's nigh impossible to bug the game.

===Multi-Elements:===

- Replaced Summon Water Elemental with Dark Pact (Dark/Water).
- Replaced Summon Skeletal Mage with Silence (Dark/Water).

===Coding:===

- Recoded the NPC "trio attack" trigger. It should now work better, if not 100% properly.
*- Reset Icy Orb to its old self. Don't complain to me if it bugs out! Very Happy

*Note: I'm kidding, I'm simply not skilled enough to edit such a complicated spell yet. Expect a re-write in the future when I become more savvy with the Missile Structures...

===Bugs:===

- Cursed Waves now correctly targets air.
- Fixed a few multiboard issues.
- More commands are now blocked before game mode selection.

Version Alpha 7.08:

===Multi-Elements:===

- Many changes. Refer to this post.

===Coding:===

*- Rewrote Erupt to fix some glitches and also corrected the amount of fissures opened on all levels and conditions.
*- Rewrote Icy Orb to fix some possible glitches.

*Note: Due to the re-write of the spells, some timing may be off. Please report time issues (faster or slower).

===Game Modes:===

- Game mode -an now disables the Noob Shield.

===Computer/AI===

- NPC heroes should no longer leave base solo. If one leaves, they all leave.
- Gave the Ranger Cold Arrows. Now does 50% extra damage and 30% slow when hit by a cold arrow. Fires once every 2 shots.
- Increased Ranger acquisition range by 300.
- Increased Paladin and Knight acquisition range by 400.
- Decreased Ranger's Essence. Untold amount.

===Other/Optional:===

- The Time Elapsed on the Scoreboard now displays a 0 before the seconds if it is from 0-9 (ex. 1:05 instead of 1:5).

===Bugs:===

- Pacifism should now correctly silence the enemy... yes, it was supposed to since 6.09... look at the changelog.
- Corrected mispelling of "durration" to "duration" in Pacifism upgrade.

Version Alpha 7.07:

===Multi-Elements:===

- Replaced Heal with Granite Grenade (Earth/Light).
- Replaced Hurl Boulder with Smite (Earth/Light).

===Coding:===

- Rewrote Resurrection to remove a lot of the bugs possible in it.

===Bugs:===

- Multiboard now says "an" instead of "a" when it is proper.
- Multiboard should show the correct kills to the killing player.
- Multiboard now displays Time Elapsed like it should have last version.
- Removed the texts from Restore to prevent bugs. I guess the "fun" wasn't worth bugging the game.

Version Alpha 7.06:

===New Features:===

- Added game mode -nm (Normal Mode), which you must use to start the game normally instead of just "-" or waiting the time out.
- Added a K/D multiboard. It's Very simple and in GUI currently. Advanced will come later.

===Coding:===

- Rewrote Restore. Added a few new "fun" features like telling you when the target is out of range, you stop channeling, and if the target died. These messages should be only visible to the caster.

===Multi-Elements:===

- Added a new M-Spell, Cursed Waves, to Dark/Water spellbook.
- Replaced Granite Grenade with Heal (Earth/Light Spellbook).
- Replaced Pacifism with Fissure (Earth/Light Spellbook).
- Moved a few in-war M-Spellbook shops. They are now closer to the treeline so as to not block the hiding spots they are in completely.

===Spells:===

- Hardened Skin on Mountain Giant can only reduce to 8 damage instead of 3.
- Absorb Mana casting range reduced from 750 to 700.

===Units:===

- Water Elementals now take damage to mana instead of health (turned on when summoned). Once out of mana, they will start taking damage to their 50 health (remains that through all levels).
- Increased Lightning Elemental's movement speed by 80 (220 to 300). They are now the fastest elemental (it's lightning...).

===Other/Optional:===

- When you load a character above level 20, tips are turned off by default.

===Bugs:===

- Light Staff heal bonus should now be the correct 14 instead of 8 on Restore.

Version Alpha 7.05:

===New Features:===

- Multi-Element spellbooks may now be bought within the Great War at random points in the woods of the AoS.

===Game Modes:===

- Game mode -ns should now give 16x gold.

===Computer/AI:===

- Decreased Acquisition range of the Knights by 100.

===Bugs:===

- Demonic Control should no longer crash the game.
- Game mode -ns should give extra experience (now 8x).
- Sea Elemental morph now gives the correct requirements.
- Fixed the tooltips on most accessories (renegeration > regeneration). [DarkDjinni]
- Vortex should now FINALLY work!

Version Alpha 7.04:

===Bugs:===

- Arcane Push should now work properly.
- Ice Slide should now work properly.
- Pandaren Ring tooltip and properties are now correct.
- Earth Island now has the correct spellbook seller.

Version Alpha 7.03:

===New Features:===

- The Demon from Hells Summoning has a new, fun spell - Demonic Control.

===Coding:===

- Rewrote Arcane Push to make it run faster (the execution of the spell).
- Rewrote Ice Slide to make it run faster (the execution of the spell).
- Rewrote Vortex to fix some possible bugs.

===Game Modes:===

- Game mode -ct disabled again due to bugs. Might be deleted due to infunctionality.

===Multi-Elements:===

- Ice/Wind spellbook now has Cyclone instead of Frost Nova.
- Ice/Wind spellbook now has Freeze instead of Wind Elemental.

===Computer/AI:===

- Paladin will now heal normally.

===Units:===

//Effect

- Skeleton Mages now only have a 700 range Magic Missile.

===Bugs:===

- Earth should now have the correct shop.
- Wind upgrade icons should be in the correct locations.
- Possible fix to the resurrection bug (no more teleporting to the middle).

Version Alpha 7.02:

===New Features:===

- First Multi-Element spell; Hells Summoning for Dark/Fire. *Warning:* Animations are "sketchy", thus meaning it isn't all that "great looking"... eye candy will come later.

===Game Modes:===

- Enabled -ct again.

===Spells:===

//Other

- Magic Missile range increased from 850 to 3000 (it only deals 85 damage... don't complain!).
- Magic Missile cooldown increased from 8 to 18.

===Units:===

- Decreased damage of archers in the AoS by 2.
- Increased damage of swordsmen in the AoS by 2.

===Bugs:===

- Paw Gloves now requires the correct 22 Stamina to wear.
- Dark Island's second quest no longer requires a dark book (making it possible now).
- You should now be able to save even without activating the new game mode.

Version Alpha 7.01:

===New Features:===

- New game mode, -ns. This allows you to not save, however you gain experience 9x faster than normal.

===Coding:===

- Rewrote Phase Shift to work more effectively and remove the permanent invulnerability possibility.

===M-Spellbooks:===

- Earth/Lightning now has Hurl Boulder instead of Crack.
- Earth/Lightning now has Purge instead of Granite Grenade.

===Spells:===

//Effect

- Arcane Push now lasts .5 seconds less and pushes 1/9 slower.
- Arcane Push may no longer target non-heroes or air units.
- Finger of Death may no longer target buildings.
- Finger of Death now does 2*Power to creeps above level 10.

===Computer/AI:===

- Paladin should no longer heal normal units, and only target heroes from now on.
- Paladin's heal casting range increased from 1050 to 1600 range.
- Decreased Knight aquisition range.
- Decreased Ranger aquisition range.

===Bugs:===

- Granite Grenade now says E as its hotkey.
- All spells on E should no longer affect Earthquake.
- Fixed spell requirements for passive D skills.
- Possibly fixed some timer struct issues. Very temporary and experimental.
- Fixed all spells not working before (Restore, Sanctuary, Erupt, Armageddon).

Version Alpha 7.00:

===New Features:===

- Introduction of Multi-Element Spellbooks!
- Reset save/load codes!
- One new quest for every elements island (except Light, they are peaceful!).
- Arcane now has a new spell, Arcane Push. Needs balancing probably.

===Spells:===

//Mana Cost

- Thunderstorm mana cost reduced from 225 to 185.

//Damage

- Suffocation damage reduced from 0.5/1.0/1.5*power damage per second to 0.4/0.8/1.2*power damage per second.
- Thunder Clap damage increased from 2.0/4.0/6.0*power damage to 2.5/5.0/7.5*power damage.

//Effect

- Fire Orb randomness of missiles made into a smaller margain, while remaining at the same average time interval.
- Icy Winds AoE reduced from 600 to 480.
- Thunder Clap now remains at 3 second slow time through all levels.

//Other

- Frostbite now only costs 13 skill points instead of 21 to get.

===Items:===

//Non-Elemental Items

- Claw Gloves level requirement reduced from 32 to 29.
- Claw Gloves damage reduced from 106 to 96.

//Elemental Items

- In general, all Elemental Items now cost less!

- Dark Shield now does +150 damage/healing to Death Coil instead of +95.
- Earth Gem now adds 3 fissures to Erupt instead of 2.
- Fire Pendant now does +8% to Flaming Essence instead of 4%.
- Ice Boots now only gives +35 to Icy Orb damage instead of +65.
- Ice Staff now only gives +35 to Frost Bolt damage instead of +65.
- Ice Stone now restores 45 mana instead of 15 on the cast of the listed spells.
- Ice Stone no longer affects Replenish.
- Light Ring now restores 100 health per second while channeling Resurrection instead of 65.
- Lightning Bulb now does +150 damage to Thunder Clap instead of +85.
- Water Talisman now gives +135 mana instead of +35.
- Wind Necklace now does +50 damage per second to Suffocation instead of +3 second duration.

===Quests:===

- Fire Quest now requires you to kill 4 Salamanders instead of 2.
- Wind Quest now requires you to kill 4 Harpy Queens instead of 6.

===Bugs:===

- Now all spellbooks in item form has the correct spell listing.
- Most commands are now unable to be used before the game mode is selected.
- Fixed an abuse with being unable to use certain items.*
*Note: This has come at the price of being able to equip any spellbook. This will be further improved later when I know more of the item system.
