Dude... SC2 is going to be the greatest game ever to arrive on the face of the planet. FYI to whom this may concern the day sc2 comes out I will most likely never be seen on WC3 again... just a heads up

chances are this is exactly the same for me.. as i may stay active on the forums i will NEVER.. and i repeat NEVER, play warcraft 3 again..

i love all the new editions to the zerg.. infested protoss and terran look badass..

blizzard is exactly right when they say sc2 will be the best competetive online rts to ever come into existance..

I didn't like the original, so I doubt I'll like this one.

Startcraft is awesome! Just wanted to say. I don't know what the editor is going to be like, though. I hope its at least as customizable as WC3 ed. And, like you, I'm not sure if I'll be playing WC3 after it comes out either. I saw some demos, and you can select like 40 units at the same time

that actually makes me think of a mod I could do to select more than 12 units at once...of course the issue being for that system to be of use the number of unit on map would prolly lag the game like crazy so I wouldn't bother using it.

I'll bet the Koreans are estatic, considering sc1 is practically a sport there, STILL. i look forward to it, but not as much as other games.

ya right now its set to select unlimited at time.. however they said it will probably change but will definately be a hell lot more then 12..

something around 200 so im guessing between 200-255..

and for you editor happy people.. yes sc2's editor will be twice the editor wc3's is..

This is assuming it ever comes out. Okay, so the Best Buy website has a "release" date set up for it, but they keep pushing it back further and further. I understand why: to make the game live up to its full potential, but the waiting gets dumb after a point and there are other games coming out in the meantime. They should do the best but have a "must release by" date otherwise it's in danger of being like a picture stuck in a painter's mind; it might be the greatest thing ever, but if no one else can see it then it doesn't matter.

if best buy has a due date they are dumb.. blizzard hasnt established a date for its release yet.. i doubt it will come in 08, probably early '09..

chances are best buys dates are just estimates..

its just a guy with his camera so dont expect quality, but it does show the changeling, and a couple of the zerg portraits, which are just awsome!, also the guy sucks really bad lol he got STOMPED by the computer lol

The release is supposed to be LATE '08, which is pretty soon. MY guess is that there gunna release it just before the Holidays, and they will get A TON of purchases betweeen the holiday season and just the sheer popularity of it. I think that right now its already the most popular computer game on the planet, and it hasnt even come out yet. SC2 FTW.

well as i just learned, you can already reserve a copy at game stop, who predicts it will release in early december.

also last i checked best buy thinks it will release in late november..

im leaning towards late december, early january tho..

I loved Starcraft and i'm most likely getting Starcraft 2 when it comes out.

My favorite character in sc 1 was Sarah Kerrigan (I love manipulation ).
