| Post your current mage, reasons why you like it, playstyle using that mage and why it rox. Lightning/Ice (TS) + Crack + Kiss + Icy Orb. With Crack the disadvantages of Kiss/Orb (being best in melee) are solved. Also with a Ice book as your secondary book, you can Dual Orb + Dual Kiss the Pally which absolutely rapes. Or with a Lightning book, double Crack. Post your own . | |

| Wind/Ice (before nerf) Would go invisible or wind walk orb then silence.
currently I just play pure wind cause I find the wind multis either have no power or none of winds play style.

| fire/lightning:
best mp regen out of any character I've played (besides water) you can swap cast TS on people so you don't lose out on that much from lightning. you can swap cast lightning elementals to kill off towers( no mp ftw ) because your other skills are not so great at tower killing has a nice hp range with the Hp belt equipped has some of the best spells in the game: ( crack, lightning strike, fire orb, fire nova, flare, static ) It can be played alot of different ways but crack-clap-nova seems to be the one of choice you still recieve PS out of the spellbook. swap blink works well for regular travelling with your high mp regen.
dark/ice:
dark/ice is the icy orb whore: you can cast an icy orb every 17 seconds without losing mana. theres alot more to dark/ice but the above point sums it up.

| Wow, sounds killer and is more proof that Crack is OP. (At least I think so.)
My mage is currently:
Water/Dark
Double wave kills any creep wave, and Death Pact gives all the mana back. Dark Tithe - Cursed Waves - Silence - Life Drain is what I use to attack mages. Just general constant use of waves is the strategy of this mage, and he has the mana to support it.

| O, I also use my Dark/Holy. Infernal spam/Bless etc. 62 Stamina, rest in essence. FoD toggle if I want to damage a single target, though I can usually permastun with DarkTithe/Blind and Infernals on top of them. Death pact toggle as well for plenty of mana. Spell sheild amulet so I tank like a bitch. | |

| Fire/Ice: Dual Orb FTW!!! =D Water/Ice: Again, orb spammage. Light/Ning: Damage and support; beautiful and deadly. Earth/Water: Erosion... GG's, Crushing, Erupt, Earthen, and Sinkhole. Earth/Wind: The silent, annoying assassin. Fire/Lightning: For Death in seconds. Water/Light: Ultimate Support Dark/Ice: For the same reasons as Bash =D
Slightly off topic... do we REALLY need a skill point cap at 40? I very much liked the opportunity to create "template" mages so I could combine Light/Fire/Anything with anything else. Part of the annoyingness of creating a new mage is all the work you have to do... I rather like my level 50 some fire mage w/ 80 skill points that I can no longer load *sad face*. Same with a light mage and a water mage =(

| You're telling me, I had a 35 Arcane with all it's skill points, a level 62 Light with ~100 SP with an already maxed Light set. Though it is a bit hard choosing from so many mages when you got several maxed mages with little effort. | |

| <--- Agrees with Jay but variety, to use a cliche, is the spice of life. And it's a lot easier to make a variety of mages when you don't have to grind out several hours with each one. I guess I just don't understand the reasoning behind having such a low skill point cap when saving. | |

| well it means in order to fully play the game, you have to make more characters, which mean you have to host more which in turn spreads the map more, but on the flip side of the argument, you have the fact that the odds of people quiting or not playing new version due to code reset increase. I personally have little issue spreading my own maps, but then again none of my maps are nearly as complex as MM&M. | |

Its basically the same as cheating. You make 1 mage, get it to 62. Save it when it has money/skill points'. From now on you never have to make another mage, you open the map make your mage with your money and skill points and your set. Sure its more effort then cheating (requires the first mage) but after that is the same thing.

If you do it in a previous version, I believe you can save it with all the skill points, yes? And thus, you can load it with all the skill points.

| I know when it was lowered, I loaded old versions and made new mages. I won't lie. You use what you got. Next code reset, you can STILL do that...even with 40SP.
I make an Arcane mage to level 35 now...and instead, I have 40SP, and a shitload of gold by selling it. I can then have near full elemental gear, and then max the mage with the rest of the skillpoints. It's part of the game and you can't stop it. Just limit it and make it harder to do.

| If you save a character with 41 sp before the cap was lowered and you load it after the cap was lowered you will get a hacker message and will be unable to load the mage.
Oh and could we please have a discussion on the SP cap, I could make a forum poll but I think I already did one for this week so I have to wait until at least tomorrow =(
Forum polls are a weekly thing right?

| Preferably, forum polls would be maximum once per day and minimum once per week. But, it is up to you and I doubt anyone would really care about you doing them as often as you like. | |

Which is why you load in the older version, spend some and then same. What I was saying is for the code reset I can save a mage with 40SP, and sell the rest and have an arcane mage which will have full elemental gear as soon as I choose it's elements (could do all 8/9). You can't stop that kind of thing regardless of the cap, people will always find a way around the system - so you might as well INCORPORATE it into the system somehow. - Quote :

Forum polls are a weekly thing right? At one point in time they used to be daily things (sometimes more), then they became less and less frequent as SinsiteRing became less involved. Just forum poll something when you have a question that might actually spark up conversation. I think Bi-daily would be optimal, so every other day.
