| I thought of this yesterday. This game can be played multiple times, each with a winner. I'll be developing the game rules more and more each play through to make sure things aren't "broken" but I do have a general idea.Starting Off:- First post is normal, saying the rules and how the game is played.
- The first poster then makes a rule that contradicts what the player made, such as "No Posting First."
- The second poster then makes another post, not breaking the rule in the first post, then makes another rule against something he posted.
- The next poster then makes a post which does not break any rules declared in any above posts, then posts a new rule that he broke in the post.
The last step (in bold) is to be repeated for the rest of the game.
The game ends when no one makes a post within the last 24 hours of the last valid post. When this happens, the person who posted last has won the game (the one who made the final rule). The last poster's rule is set as a "restriction" for all following games, meaning that rule cannot be made.Current Restrictions on Rule-Making:- No bans disallowing typing as a whole (No typing, No using vowels, etc.)
- No bans disallowing posting as a whole (No posting, No pressing "Send", etc.)
Current Rules:- No first posting.
- No double posting.
- No asking questions.
- No posting after the winner.
- No using numbers.
- No posting more than a line (meaning cannot use enter to space things out).
- No using ellipses.
- No misspelling.
Banned Players:- Dragonheart91: Double posting after the "No double posting" rule was implemented.
- Jay.J: Using the letter "o" after the "No using ellipses" rule was implemented.
For all intents and purposes, I'll be posting twice for this first game, and my first rule will be:No first posting.

| If we can't type or post, how can the game be played? | |

| Restrictions are for making sure that people cannot make those rules. Rules are for making sure that people cannot post that way. | |

| I don't understand how "No first post" doesn't break the rule of "No restricting posting"?
Can I say "No even numbered posts"? Meaning anyone to post after me would lose? Is my next rule supposed to make the previous poster break a rule? What about Question/Answer/Explanation/Debate posts?

| This seems fun if we can figure out how it works. I'll give it a shot. | |

| When posting, someone should have to find at least one way to circumvent their rule. (this would, for example, void Jay.J's rule) | |

| Jay's rule is not valid. It breaks the "No restricting posting (No posting, No pressing "Send", etc.)" restriction. Therefore it is invalid. Now, to give you guys a better understanding, here's how it worked out so far:- 1st Post: I made the game and restricted making the first post (which is no longer possible and a stupid rule anyways).
- 2nd Post: I made a random post and then added in the rule to not double post (meaning no one can double post).
- 3rd Post: Bart asked about restrictions.
- 4th Post: I explained that restrictions were to make sure that specific RULES are not to be made, to make the game fair. The list will gain one restriction when someone wins a game.
- 5th Post: Jay.J said a bunch of mumbo jumbo that I don't care to re-state.
- 6th Post: Dragonheart91 was excited.
- 7th Post: Dragonheart91 gets banned (this round) for breaking Rule #2 (NO DOUBLE POSTING!)
- 8th Post: Pythagoras posts the first valid post!
- 9th Post: Jay.J posts the second valid post! However, it's fairly useless considering the topic will be locked and the second round created after someone wins.
- 10th Post: Bart posts about circumventing the rules... which is exactly what this game is all about.
- 11th Post: This post, in which I explain what's happened so far!
Please see the updated first post, as I've improved the game and made it more understandable (I think). No using numbers.

| I still don't understand how your rule is valid (No first posting). It disallows posts...I think I understand this game now though.
No posting more than a line.

| I think a line is subjective, because of the width of monitors, so basically I'm interpreting Jay's rule as banning the use of second or subsequent lines by hitting enter or return. You cannot use ellipses | |

That isn't what I mean. When someone posts a rule, before posting, they should have to find at least one way to circumvent it so they know it's possible, even if nobody else can find it.

That isn't what I mean. When someone posts a rule, before posting, they should have to find at least one way to circumvent it so they know it's possible, even if nobody else can find it. Then you can't win. I believe the "wining rule" becomes banned for next games, though sometimes it might just be because of a combination of rules. Like, must "No using numbers" and "Must use numbers" which is possible since you're supposed to break your own rule in your post. Anyway, I win. You must use numbers in your post.

You already claimed me the winner. You can't edit your post or post after that. You're banned now, or I win.

| Fuck, you're right. -.-
I'll just make a new game and edit the rules. I think now we should have a fairly organized and solid game to play.
