you could try the Sentinel and teleport combo i suggested, but im not sure if it will work w/ in nature and the style already in place.

for the e spell, how about a spell that creates 5 trees around the mage. Trees block vision (so he cant be attacked while in them), offer hp regen, and the spell can be casted again to immeadiatly make the trees wither away, otherwise, they go away on their own after a few seconds. aoe spells aimed correctly can still dmg him while inside trees. Also this is without reading majority of his current spells so im not sure how it themes in. But its nature related so hopefully its ok

It was a more complex problem in which units were sending UnitEntersRange messages to the trigger handlers for the castersystem missiles to execute a specific function, which would in turn each create another unit which would send another UnitEntersRange message and continue until causing the game to crash.

Monster Lure: How is that going to help anyone.
Force of Life: The only thing that can go invis, that is, to my knowledge, is the wind mage.
Thorns Aura: Id like to point out that mages are ranged, and thorns aura dont work on spells or ranged units, also, mages like me, dont get a lot of stamina, a few hits and we are dead, unless the creep is going to continue to attack your dead corpse, thorns aura stops working after death
