Aqua Sphere (2 levels) [C]
Effect: Aqua Sphere acts as a Mana Shield on the target. If it is cast on an ally, any damage they take will be dealt to YOUR mana instead of their hp for the duration or until your mana is depleted. If it is cast on an enemy, damage they take will be dealt to THEIR mana instead of their hp for the duration. In addition, it will deplete an enemy's mana slowly over time if cast on them. It is removed if the target enemy's mana reaches 0.

You can use it to support allies, but your mana will deplete rather quickly. It would be great to save an injured ally though, or help an Earth/Ice/Wind mage get into position. However, my preferred use is on enemies. At maximum level with sufficient mana it will completely eliminate the mana regeneration of most mages and possibly even drain their mana slowly. In addition to that, any damage they take will hit their mana. It's very pwnage against mages with low mana regeneration, turning Crushing Wave into a 200 Mana Burn quite easily. The downside to this is that they can essentially rush you with impunity since their hp just increased quite a bit.

It puts a heavy emphasis on tanking with Essence and supporting allies. Just how Water should be in my opinion.
P.S. I also think that Bubble Aura should scale a bit and that Geyser should lose the channeling and have increased aoe.
