I'm sorry that this is long, but it's a comment on how I like your game, and I hope you'll read it. Before I start, I need to give you an overview of my games today:

I played probably 15 games today with a friend of mine... Mega_Zero if you want to know. This was how he built his Metacian:

He got to 80ish by the final game, I believe. Possibly only 60, I don't remember. He put all his stats, without fail, into Stamina. He then bought a Blood Shot and told me it didn't deal enough damage, and that he should get a sword/gunblade to deal AoE damage instead of a dinky 800 damage weapon that he spammed using a Tribarrel. He also complained a ton about the lack of mana he had. He was using a full Minotaur set by our final game along with a Dragonhide Armor. He tried Sacrifice shot and said it didn't deal enough damage, and that the mana cost was lame. He said that mana cost on any tanking build is lame... and I'm not sure what you think about it.

This was my Metacian:

Level 99, of course, I had put points into essence until I had 50 base Essence, and the rest into Power... totaling 176 base Power, I think. I have a full royal set along with a missile shot and tribarrel gun. I am dealing about 800 damage to the primary target and 500 to those around it. The strategy I played with was basically to use divine shield as much as possible to make sure I didn't die, and let Mega_Zero tank all the damage while I DPS'd.

Well, me and him did REALLY damn well our last game. We had 2 others with a load code, and they did a decent job early game with us and helped slightly more in the later game. We passed through the dragons no problem, then got to the orcs. I told him we'd lose by then, like always, but then... we got through it. Even though the stuns and such kept us on our toes, and especially since he couldn't do anything due to the feedback and mana requirement, it took a while... but we got through the orcs. We even finished the kobolds, upset as always that they had a damn BASH. Most annoying thing in the game! He didn't get feedback, and they didn't deal enough damage to him with his 1% HP/sec regen and 75 damage reduction. Finally, we got to the Hydra's... which was a pitiful attempt of GET ROLLED. We both died, and there was nothing we could do about it.

Now, my comment to you is how well you've made the certain specs and gear balanced according to their roles. Tanks can tank... and they don't do much else. They're able to roflpwn bosses, sure, but when it comes to masses of units, they kind of suck. It's a weakness, one that my role fulfills with my AoE and high damage. However, when a boss comes along, I need to be careful not to get hit, because my lowly 97 (+75 from Royal Set) stamina makes it tough to heal from such hits. My mana is fine, because of the royal set, and my no-mana blink has saved me many times. The cool thing about it as well is that the divine shield, although having a low cooldown, is only so useful... because once you're bashed, you're fucked. Once you lose aggro and Uther starts taking damage, you're fucked. When mega fills the role, he can only do so much alone. It requires a team, and a good one. It's really a well-balanced game beyond my imagining, and I want to give you kudos for your fantastic work.

I would agree with just about everything you said. The one thing I will mention is that a tank build can still deal damage with the Spiked Armor. Have your friend try that instead of the Dragon Armor. You do lose some of your "tankness", however you turn your tanking into damage with is great against mobs.

Also, a high Stamina build can also be great with the Spiked Set, Vampire Orb, and the Locust Shot. It's fabulous, give it a go.
